Things to know when taking kids to a Colts game

The Indianapolis Colts have done a great job at creating an experience that is friendly to families, including families with young children. In an environment that can easily get overwhelming quickly, here are some tips that will make your trip to Lucas Oil Stadium easier and a lot of fun for everyone.

  • Kids under the age of 2 do not need a ticket and are free to enter the game.

  • There are Mamava nursing pods located around the stadium for moms that need a private location to nurse/pump. Pumps can be brought into the game through any entrance and are not subject to the clear bag policy, are subject to a search upon entry. Pod locations below:

    • Street Level, southwest corner near Section 132.

    • Street level, northeast corner outside of Sections 108-110.

    • Terrace Level, southeast corner outside of Sections 518/619.

  • Get to the game early and check out Touchdown Town outside the north end of the stadium. There are some hands-on kids activities like the Play60 football challenges, 40 yard dash, face paint, etc. See full details, here.

  • Stop by any Guest Services location for a free gift for each kiddo to play with at the game. It is usually something like a coloring/activity book that can help keep them entertained while they are seated watching the game! There is also a special gift that kids attending their first game can get from the same location.

  • Concession stands outside sections 108, 124, 148, 331, 513 and 540 sell a kids meal that comes with your choice of chicken tenders or mini corn dogs, fries, a drink in a souvenir cup, and Colts arm sleeves all for $8.

  • The Clear bag policy is in effect for all games. Each family member (including the kids) can have a clear bag that meets requirements if needed! Things that I typically pack in my bag include diapers, a pack of wipes, wallet, a reusable water bottle, and a couple emergency snacks for the kids. This clear bag holds everything listed and meets requirements for the stadium!
