Monday, Jan 16 - Happy MLK Day!

  • Free museum entry in honor of MLK day. Museums include: Indianapolis Zoo, the Eiteljorg Museum, the Indiana State Museum, the NCAA Hall of Champions, and the Children’s Museum. Check museum websites for hours and details!

  • MLK Day Commemoration. 6:30-7:30pm. Tarkington Theatre, Carmel IN. Free to enter.

Tuesday, Jan 17

  • Tales for 2s and 3s. Session1: 9:30-10am, Session 2: 10:30-11am. Session 3: 11:30-12pm. Carmel Main Library. Story time for kids 2-3. Free event, tickets required. Tickets are available at Kids Desk first come, first serve, 30min prior to start.

  • Book buddies: 10:30-11am. Carmel Main Library. Kids ages 4-6pm. Stories, activities, and crafts. No tickets required.

  • Drop-in Play with Robots! 4-6pm. Carmel Main Library. For kids 6-11 years old. Drop in to the discovery room to play with a selection of robots and coding games. No registration required.

  • Story Time. 10:30-11:30am. Westfield Washington Library. Free event, Registration required.

Wednesday, Jan 18

  • Little Ones. Session 1: 9:30-9:50am. Session 2: 10:30-10:50am. Session 3: 11:30-11:50am. Carmel Main Library. Story time for kids 12-24mo. Free event, tickets required. Tickets are available at Kids Desk first come, first serve, 30min prior to start.

  • Explore and Discover: 10am-12pm. Carmel Main Library. Ages 2-6 years old. Drop in to play in the discovery room with other preschoolers and activities provided by the library. No registration required.

  • Dabble–Arts & Crafts for Kids K-5. 3:30-4:15pm. Carmel Main Library. Explore art through various mediums and learn to paint like Monet!

  • Squirrels, Snowmen, and Waking In the Woods–Cool Creek Park Preschool Nature Program. 10:30am-11:30am. Kids + parents will be walking through the woods, so dress accordingly! Free event. Registration required.

  • Open Play @ The Park At Traders Point: 3-7pm. Traders Point Christian Church, 6590 S. Indianapolis Road Whitestown, IN. Free entry. Kids need socks, parents need an I.D. Pre-register your family and check the capacity tracker at tpcc.org/thepark.

  • Disney on Ice: 7pm show. Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tickets required.

Thursday, Jan 19

  • Library Babies. Session 1: 9:30-9:50am. Session 2: 10:30-10:50am. Session 3: 11:30-11:50am. Carmel Main Library. Story time for babies 0-12mo. Free event, tickets required. Tickets are available at Kids Desk first come, first serve, 30min prior to start.

  • Movie Night @ the Carmel Main Library. 6:30-8:45pm. Showing Top Gun Maverick (PG13). Registration required.
