The IN List Weekend: 5/12 - 5/14

The IN List: weekend shares the top events going on this weekend in & around Carmel. Be sure to keep an eye on Instagram stories from @keepingupincarmel for any event changes or additions.

Friday, May 12

  • GMR Grand Prix Practice: Gates open 7:30am - 5pm. Indianapolis Motor Speedway. IndyCar practice begins at 9:30am. Full schedule, here. Tips for taking your kids to the speedway, here.

  • Westfield Library Events: 333 W Hoover St, Westfield, IN.

    • Friday Funday - how does your garden grow?: 10:30-3:30pm. Drop in event open to all ages. Registration required if you want to pick up a kit to take home.

Saturday May 13

  • Carmel Summer Farmers Market – 8:00am - 11:30am 2 Carter Green, Carmel, IN.

  • Fishers Farmers Market: 8am-12pm. Nickel Plate District Amp. 6 Municipal Dr. Fishers, IN 46038.

  • Noblesville Farmers Market: 8am-12pm. Federal Hill Commons. 175 Logan St. Noblesville, IN 46060

  • GMR Grand Prix: Gates open 7:30am - 6pm. Indianapolis Motor Speedway. GMR Grand Prix starts at 3:30pm. Tickets and more info here.

  • Bike Carmel Family Fun Ride: 8:30am. Carmel Elementary. 2 mile family fun bike ride on trails and paths. Games before and after the ride. Free to participate, all entrants get a swag bag and t-shirt. Registration begins at 8:30am, bikes roll out at 9:30am. More info, here.

  • Midtown Block Party: 2-6pm. Midtown Carmel. Free event. Family games, live DJ, food vendors, face paint, balloon artist, movie, characters, and more.

  • Meet Me on Main: 4-8pm. Main St. Carmel, IN. Live music, activities, live art displays. Free event.

  • Concerts For a Cause: 6pm. Indianapolis Art Center. All ticket proceeds to benefit Hollis Adams Foundation. Ticket includes all you can eat food and an open bar (beer and wine). Purchase tickets.

  • Spring Wildflower Walk: 10:30am -12pm. Cool Creek Nature Center. All ages, free event. Registration required.

  • Rock the Junction: 1-5pm. Grand Junction Brewing. Music and craft beer festival. Tickets required.

Sunday, May 14


  • Mother’s Day at Urban Vines: 12-6pm. Urban Vines Winery, Westfield, IN. Mimosa bar 12-2pm, Quack Daddy Doughnuts 12-3pm, Live Music 3-6pm. More info, here.
