The IN List: weekend shares the top events going on this weekend in & around Carmel. Be sure to keep an eye on Instagram stories from @keepingupincarmel for any event changes or additions.

Friday, April 21

  • Orchestra Story Time at the Fishers Library: 10-11am. Fall Creek Junior High joins story time to add a musical element to the read aloud. Free event open to all, no registration required.

  • Fairy Friday at Fairyville: 11am - 9pm. Nickel Plate Arts. 107 S. 8th Street Noblesville, IN. Walk the Fairyville trail and partake in events throughout the day. Entry is free, some special events need tickets purchased on arrival. More information, here.

Saturday, April 22

  • Dr. Seuss “The Lorax” Story Time: 10am. Cool Creek Nature Center, Carmel, IN. Celebrate earth day with this story inside the nature center. No registration required, open to all ages.

  • Earth Day Wildflower Hike: 10:30am. Cool Creek Nature Center. Hike Cool Creek looking for spring blooms and learn identification tips and fun facts about spring wildflowers. Older kids and parents. registration required.

  • Creek and Critters: 1pm. Cook Creek Nature Center. Meet at the nature center then take a walk down to the creek and learn more about what you can find in the water. Plan to get wet! All ages, no registration required.

  • Earth Day Celebrations at The Children’s Museum: 10am - 3pm. Celebrate Earth Day with hands-on activities at the Children’s Museum.

  • Zionsville GreenFest: 9am-12pm. Zionsville Town Hall, 1100 W Oak Street. Local vendors and activities throughout the day ending in a family bike ride through Overley-Worman Park. View full schedule.

  • Sprite Saturday at Fairyville: 9am - 8pm. Nickel Plate Arts. 107 S. 8th Street Noblesville, IN. Walk the Fairyville trail and partake in events throughout the day. Entry is free, some special events need tickets purchased on arrival. More information, here

  • Mission Breakout at the Noblesville Library: Escape room style contest with sessions at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. Find clues, decipher puzzles, and work as a team to complete the mission before time runs out. Registration required, free event for kids in grades 3-5.

  • FamFest at Flix Brewhouse: 11am and 12pm showings of E.T. Tickets required.

Sunday, April 23

  • Unicorn Sunday at Fairyville: 12pm-4pm. Forest Park, Noblesville IN. Visit with a unicorn in the park. Picture packages available to purchase on site. More information, here
