The IN List weekend: 3/17 - 3/19

Friday, Mar 17

  • Wee Wonders. 11am-12pm. Newfields, Indianapolis, IN. Kids and their caregiver will explore galleries, sing songs, go on a scavenger hunt, read a story. Designed for kids 3-5, younger siblings welcome. Each person needs a ticket.

  • Clay Terrace St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt: 11am-2pm. Clay Terrace Mall, Carmel, IN. Stop by the Mall management office at 11am to grab a hunt checklist, then go searching around the mall for 15 different items. Bring your sheet back for a chance to win 15 different prizes. Free event. Will also have free balloons, selfie wall, freebies, kettle corn, Kona Ice. More info, here.

  • Shamrock Drop: Westfield Welcome Event. 6-8pm. Westfield High School, Westfield, IN. Event is now indoors due to weather! Irish music and dancing, carnival games, and shamrock raffle with local prizes. More info, here.

  • St. Patrick’s Day Parade: 10:30am. Downtown Indianapolis, IN. Starts at North and Penn and ends at Vermont and Meridian. Free event.

Saturday, Mar 18

  • Carmel Winter Farmers Market: 9am-12pm. 510 3rd Ave SW, Carmel, IN. Visit the website for more info.

  • Westfield Winter Farmers Market: 9am-12pm. West Fork Whisky Co. Visit the website for more information..

  • Story Castle Cinema: Movie starts at 1pm. Westfield Washington Public Library. Come watch a family friendly movie inside the story castle. Free event. Showing: Tom and Jerry, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

  • Paws to Read: 2:30-3:30. Kids ages 5-12 can come read to therapy dogs at the Carmel Main Library. Registration opens 30 min before at kids desk.

  • Flix Junior - Space Jam: 10am and 10:30am. Flix Brewhouse, Carmel, IN. Tickets required.

  • Outdoor Sports–Opening for the Season: 10am. The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. The outdoor sports experience is back open this weekend! Exhibit is included in museum ticket entry. Special events happening at each sport exhibit throughout the day. Get your tickets, here.

  • Brickworld: 10am-6pm. Indiana State Fairgrounds, Blue Ribbon Pavilion. A lego lover’s paradise! Interactive exhibits, on-site builder artists, and all. things. Lego! Tickets are $14 in advance, $16 at the door. More information, here.

Sunday, Mar 19

  • Teddy Bear Concert with the ISO: 3-4pm. Indianapolis Central Library, in the Clowes Auditorium. Free ISO performance designed for kids to be able to dance along and be introduced to the orchestra. Kids will be able to check out instruments up close after the show! More info, here.

  • Flix Junior - Space Jam: 10am and 10:30am. Flix Brewhouse, Carmel, IN. Tickets required.
