If you’re starting to casually look around at local options, a brand-new community called Holliday Farms Senior Living just opened right on our border at 11143 Ambrose Lane in Zionsville. It's a quick drive from Carmel, making it super easy for drop-ins.

The biggest hurdle with getting parents to downsize is making sure they actually like where they’re going. Holliday Farms looks and feels like a modern apartment community, it’s just reserved and built for seniors exclusively. 

• The Apartments: They are bright and modern, with full kitchens featuring quartz countertops, wood cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances. It definitely doesn't feel like a downgrade.

• The Amenities: There is an indoor pool, two onsite movie theaters with a popcorn machine, and cozy lounge spaces. There are onsite restaurants open 7am-7pm with meals included in rent price.
